We're excited to spread the news that Central Virginia Community College was awarded $1.5M through a Strengthening Community Colleges grant.  Trivium Consulting collaborated with the Community Funding Accelerator in the proposal development, project management, budget creation, and supporting the creation of supplemental documents--helping launch a critically important workforce training program in Advanced Manufacturing.

These grants fund physical and natural sciences, technology, engineering, social sciences, and mathematics disciplines, topics, or issues (including environmental science education or stewardship). They will support learners' and educators' capacity-building. It is open to nonprofit, for-profit, and academic institutions. No cost-sharing requirement. Rolling deadlines until June 30, 2026.

The Joint Associations Group (JAG) has revealed the outcome of its months-long work planning an overhaul of indirect costs for research projects. The Fiscal Accountability in Research, or FAIR, model emerged from the work of several higher education national associations, partially in response to the possibility of an across the board limit of 15%.
